A quick notice that my friending and comment policy is thus: go for it. If you friend me, please leave a comment/send me a PM briefly explaining who you are and I'll friend you back. You can then proceed to comment and little or as much as you like on my journal - I'm dreadful at remembering to comment myself, although I am trying to improve (so rest assured that I do, in fact, read your entries). Speaking of which, don't be put off commenting on a fic on account of it being 'old' - I thrive on feedback.
Should anyone have the burning desire to make fanart or podfic or remix any of my fic, I should be utterly delighted - just please notify me of it with a link to where it's up so I can link it on my journal and squee :D
If you want to see what I'm currently working on, take a gander at the word count post, which lists in-progress fic with word counters in pretty colours to give you an idea of how far along I am with something. Fic-related ramblings/whingings also turn up on my tumblr, along with a great deal of other things which I think are shiny, if that appeals to you.
Other than that - here, have a Masterlist O' Fic, grouped by fandom and listed in ascending order of posting (i.e. new fics are at the top). In a couple of places I've written enough fics for one pairing for it to have its own mini-section, which is again listed with the newest fic at the top.

Fandom: Yu-Gi-Oh!
Rating: R
Word Count: 600
Summary: Pre-series, the Bakura siblings spend some time in England. Amane has some opinions about English school uniforms - and getting her brother out of his.
Notes: For my uniform kink square over at Kink Bingo. I just got hit by sudden YGO feelings about a month back, so naturally the result was this spot of incest. Title and cut text are of course from The Pipettes.

And so, after saying I didn't much like the arrangement of Piano Magic's I Came To Your Party Dressed As A Shadow, I now can't stop listening to the damn thing. Serve me right.
I've been back from uni for a few weeks now, and am going back down on the 16th. Collections prep is going alright, I think, though Plato's Meno is mind-numbingly dull. Memorising irregular Greek principle parts seems positively enjoyable by comparison. They've told me to read the Herodotus prescription in Greek over the vac, but I just don't have the time to do that AND revise Iliad 1-9 (which I actually have a collection on and I am therefore shitting bricks over), so I've so far settled for reading it in English, along with my beta texts, and I need to have a look at the Bisitun Inscription of Darius and the image dossier (which I need to 'familiarise' myself with, eek).
In non-Classical news, I finally got round to reading Mark Steel's Vive la Revolution, and it's just as funny and accurate as promised. An excellent introduction to the French Revolution, which I was sorely in need of to understand Les Mis (and its fandom meta) better. Gail Carriger's Etiquette and Espionage was a scream - I loved every character, every moment and giggled pretty much the entire way through. Heartily recommend. I'm now on Jane Robinson's Bluestockings: The Remarkable Story of the First Women to Fight for an Education, and it's honestly making me quite emotional. It makes the subject very accessible and isn't at all dry - colourful, in fact, especially with the description of some of the more eccentric 'undergraduettes' at Somerville! I was hooked from Trixie Pearson's story in the first few pages. All in all, three books worth putting on your Amazon wishlist.
In terms of fandoms, I'm still pottering around Teen Wolf, though of course the break between seasons has left it a little quieter, which has allowed me to throw myself into the arms of my old flame, Les Mis - this time with a slightly more accessible fandom. I loved the pre-film fandom, but I watched rather than really participating, I think because while I do love me some academic discussion of media, I also need fandom as a place to relax from academia. The injection of new blood has 'softened it up' enough for me to really get stuck in.
In completely unrelated news, it's fecking freezing in this house. Having been able to control my own heating for a term, I'd forgotten that my parents like it several degrees colder than I do. Brr.

Summary: Cosette has a cuddly toy collection; contrary to expectations, Eponine is charmed.
Notes: For a kink meme prompt which requested Modern AU. E/C. Cosette has a really impressive stuffed animal collection, and can't sleep without cuddling one. She thinks Eponine will make fun of her but she doesn't.
Bonus for bringing up that once upon a time Cosette wasn't allowed to have any toys and that is why she loves them so much now. And Eponine feels awful for once contributing to that in any way.
Also bonus for all of Cosette's stuffed animals having names and personalities that she explains to Eponine.

Summary: They're closer than they've ever been, closer than Isaac's ever been to anyone, and somewhere along the line the boundaries get blurred.
Notes: For the lovely hagiologic, who won me (three times over, as a matter of fact) in the Sterek Campaign Auction and has been very patient with my ridiculous schedule. Have no fear, your Sterek and Baby Beta OT3 are in the works...The title is from Plath's 'The Applicant', because I'm on a Plath kick right now. Should anyone be wondering why certain werewolves have knots and others don't in this universe, I restricted it to born werewolves.

Oh.
Yeah, that's worth keeping under the bed.
Notes For a prompt which requested Grantaire finding Enjolras' stash of sex toys. Title is from Piano's Magic's I Came To Your Party Dressed As A Shadow, the musical arrangement of which I find fairly uninspiring, but the lyrics are some of the loveliest poetry I've yet read, not to mention very evocative of one-sided E!/R

Title: The Waters Off Beautiful Nausset
Fandom: Teen Wolf
Rating: NC-17
Word Count: ~1600
Summary: "So I was wondering if you'd be interested in rimming me," says Jackson, and Isaac actually chokes. The question is largely formality - of course Isaac's going to be into Jackson, because everyone's into Jackson. He just needs to check that the ass-licking part is okay.
Notes: For a prompt at the TW Kink Meme left AGES ago that wanted Jackson/Isaac and rimming. The title is from Sylvia Plath's 'Daddy', has nothing to do with the fic (apart perhaps from mentions of child abuse) but a) it's marvellous, go listen to Plath reciting it on YouTube at once, and b) I have been trying to think of a title from this damn fic for several days and it's just not happening. Even Neruda has failed me. So I indulged my current Plath kick instead.

hd_holidays 2012, sadly the final round for that fine establishment. My recipient dropped out and my fic ended up being gifted to the community, but I'm not resentful in the slightest: I still got this fic out there and people still enjoyed it. I also received the most wonderful 50K pinch hit which I really can't gush about enough, so there's that XD Title and cut text from Siken, though from different poems.
